Located in the heart of Lincoln Square, this German bar has a great selection of draft beers in addition to a wide variety of bottled imports. Within the dark wood ambience of the bar itself, a neon lit jukebox hangs on the far wall. Hello 2009. This juke box is one of those internet ones, so be prepared on hearing anything from classic Bob Dylan to the overly poppy Metro Station.
With a wonderful selection of beers, and the mass quantities of consumption, one might think that the owners could have done a better job at bathroom planning. For a bar that is packed wall to wall on Friday and Saturday nights, two bathrooms just isn't enough. Not to mention, its about as big as a shoe box.
The crowd on the weekend nights is a 20-something scene, so if you're looking for something more tame, it's best to try somewhere else.
